Dr. Woodington was born and raised in the Treasure Valley. He attended Meridian High School and was active in the Meridian FFA Chapter. He was the Idaho FFA State Vice President in 2003-2004 while he studied Animal Science at the University of Idaho. He graduated with his DVM Degree from Oklahoma State University in 2009. In 2009 and 2010 he completed an Equine Medicine and Surgery Internship at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. This led him back to Idaho to start Woodington Veterinary. In his spare time (which is rare) Dr. Woodington is an avid college football fan, enjoys golfing and riding horses. Dr. Woodington loves to be in the mountains either on horseback or camping. He has the most wonderful little boy in the world named Graham.
Dr. Witt joined our team in April 2015. She was born and raised in Boise and attended Washington State University for her undergraduate and graduate training (Go Cougs!). She graduated in May of 2000 and practiced in western Washington for three years before returning to her hometown. Dr. Witt's husband is a firefighter with Meridian Fire Department and they have two boys: a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old. In 2014, her 15-year-old niece moved in with them bringing all the joys and challenges of having a teenage girl in the house. Dr. Witt has one cat and three dogs which keep her very busy at home. Her interests outside of work including exercising, working in her yard, reading, camping and spending time in McCall and with her family.
Dr. Reynolds joined our team in July 2020. She was born and raised in the Treasure Valley and grew up in Fruitland, Idaho. She then attended the University of Idaho for her undergraduate and Masters degrees. She later graduated with her DVM degree from Washington State University in 2016 and shortly after moved to Northern Utah where she practiced for 4 years. Utah never felt like home so in 2020 she decided to move back to the Boise area. In her spare time she loves to be outdoors hiking, camping and spending time with her husband and daughter. Dr. Reynolds has two feline kids Rascal and Roxy.
Cindy is the mother of Dr. Woodington. She has been involved with animals her entire life. She was raised on a beef and barley farm in Grangeville, ID. She and her husband, Pat, became involved in the horse racing industry over twenty years ago and are active in the Idaho Thoroughbred Association as well as an avid fan of horse racing in the west. Pat and Cindy own several race horses and mares in the Meridian area.
Michelle became a part of our team in October of 2016. She grew up in the Ketchum, Sun Valley area. She attended The University of Idaho where she studied Animal Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2001. After moving to Boise following college, she began working as a veterinary assistant in 2001. In 2004, she received her license in Certified Veterinary Technology. She has been working in the Boise area as a Veterinary Nurse for the past 16 years, taking some years off to raise her small children at home. Michelle is married and has 2 boys, Parker 10, and Hudson, 5. She is also primary caregiver to her disabled sister, Callie. Michelle has 1 dog, 1 cat and 2 horses. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family in McCall, skiing, horseback riding, and camping on the Oregon Coast.
Kelsey was raised in Jerome, ID. She earned her associates of science degree at CSI in 2014. After college she has been working at other clinics in Gooding for 6 years. She is interested in veterinary rehab, dentistry, and radiology. On her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, and hanging out with her dogs Susie and Sallie, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and finding adventures.
Sarah joined Woodington Vet in November 2019. She was born and raised in Boise and is married to Brandon who is an Airforce veteran and airplane mechanic. They have 1 dog and 5 cats that are all rescues, and 1 chicken. Sarah has been around animals all her life and loves every kind. She would have a whole zoo if her house was big enough. She is an avid hunter and loves to go camping, fishing, four wheeling, and anything else you can think of to do outside. But also loves to watch movies, read books, and paint ceramics when inside.
