Matthew Woodington

Matthew Woodington

DVM

Dr. Woodington was born and raised in the Treasure Valley. He attended Meridian High School and was active in the Meridian FFA Chapter. He was the Idaho FFA State Vice President in 2003-2004 while he studied Animal Science at the University of Idaho. He graduated with his DVM Degree from Oklahoma State University in 2009. In 2009 and 2010 he completed an Equine Medicine and Surgery Internship at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. This lead him back to Idaho to start Woodington Veterinary. Dr. Woodington enjoys golf, college football (Go Broncos and Pokes!), and spending time in the mountains. There is never a dull moment at home with his wife, son, two bonus daughters, and his big yellow lab Doug, keeping him on his toes. His idea of the perfect weekend is camping with the whole family.

Erin Witt

Dr. Witt joined our team in April 2015. She was born and raised in Boise and attended Washington State University for her undergraduate and graduate training (Go Cougs!). She graduated in May of 2000 and practiced in western Washington for three years before returning to her hometown. Dr. Witt's husband is a firefighter with Meridian Fire Department and they have two boys: a 20-year-old and an 17-year-old. Dr. Witt has one cat and two dogs which keep her very busy at home. Her interests outside of work including exercising, working in her yard, reading, camping and spending time in McCall and with her family.

Susan Reynolds

Dr. Reynolds joined our team in July 2020. She was born and raised in the Treasure Valley and grew up in Fruitland, Idaho. She then attended the University of Idaho for her undergraduate and Masters degrees. She later graduated with her DVM degree from Washington State University in 2016 and shortly after moved to Northern Utah where she practiced for 4 years. Utah never felt like home so in 2020 she decided to move back to the Boise area. In her spare time she loves to be outdoors hiking, camping and spending time with her husband and daughter. She lives with her husband, Sean, daughter Scarlett and son, Sawyer. She also has two feline kids Rascal and Roxy.

Courtney moved to Idaho over 10 years ago to finish her psychology degree at Boise State University. Shortly after graduation, she met her husband and settled down in Boise for good. She happily stumbled into veterinary medicine and has been in love with it ever since. She loves marrying her passion for people and her passion for animals at Woodington Veterinary. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, playing with her Boxer, and beating her husband in a rowdy game of chess.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Michelle became a part of our team in October 2016. She grew up in Ketchum, Sun Valley area. She attended the University of Idaho where she studied Animal Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science in 2021.

She moved to Boise following graduation and began working as a veterinary assistant in 2001. In 2004 she received her License in Certified Veterinary Technology. Her primary fields of interest include surgical nursing, dentistry, and nutrition. Michelle is married and has 2 boys. When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys riding her horse and having outdoor adventures with her family.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kelsey was raised in Jerome, ID. She earned her associates of science degree at CSI in 2014. After college she has been working at other clinics in Gooding for 6 years. She is interested in veterinary rehab, dentistry, and radiology. On her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, and hanging out with her dogs Susie and Sallie, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and finding adventures.

Veterinary Technician

Taylor grew up in Idaho and enjoyed moving around the state before relocating to Colorado in 2014. While in Colorado she found her passion within adventure, including hiking, snowboarding, and skydiving. After becoming a certified skydiver, she fell in love with the sky and worked as a Flight Attendant for three years. Missing the comforts of home, Taylor returned to Boise and began working as a Veterinarian Assistant in 2020. She joined our clinic in September 2021 and is currently in college studying Forensic Biology. Taylor spends her free time cuddling with her two cats, Bones & Marrow. She shares her adventures with her Fiancé, Josh, who is also a certified skydiver, and they plan on getting married September 2023.

Veterinary Assistant

Karli was raised in Pocatello, ID. Karli is currently attending Boise State Univeristy to get her Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. She is hoping to pursue a career in Law Enforcement after she graduates in December 2022. Karli started with us in November of 2021 but worked for another veterinary clinic in Washington for a year and half before moving back to Idaho. She owns a year and half old yellow Lab named Hank, and a 23 year old quarter horse named Barney. On her days off Karli enjoys going to the river to swim Hank, going for a ride with Barney, and hanging out with friends and family.

Maria is a native Idahoan who grew up on cattle ranches across Oregon and Idaho. Maria has been around animals her whole life and currently has a Border Collie named Yotie, a Poodle named Ernie, a cat named Slappy and a horse named Bullseye. When Maria is not working she enjoys hiking, skiing and horseback riding with her fiancé. Maria loves to travel and has even gone on a medical mission to Honduras. Maria's love for animals lead her to pursue a career here at Woodington Veterinary.

Customer Service Representative

Hadley is an Idaho local, born and raised in Nampa! She has always had a soft spot for animals and has found ways to surround herself with furry friends. Growing up, her family always had chocolate labs to keep them company and she even helped her mom care for squirrels through a local program called Animals in Distress. Before becoming a pet owner herself, she was a frequent house sitter and cared for many families' fur babies. In the meantime, she worked in restaurants and experienced the fast-paced energy of downtown. She joined the Woodington team in August of 2023 and is so excited to be here! Now that she's away from home and living on her own, her and her cat Eris have new adventures of their own! She spends her free time enjoying the outdoors, making connections with the neighborhood cats, grabbing coffee with friends, or enjoying a movie night in.
